Secular Web Kids

Greetings Padawans/Apprentices

Welcome to Secular Web Kids (SW)

This site has been designed to foster creative and critical thinking in kids of all ages. We believe that when critical thinking is consistently and carefully applied to our understanding of life, it often results in the secular worldview.

Secularism is the position that supernatural entities such as ghosts, angels, and gods do not exist, or at least that there is no compelling evidence to think they do.

According to the Pew Research Center’s 2012 global study of 230 countries and territories, 16% of the world’s population is not affiliated with any religion, and so we feel it’s important for kids to learn about secularism as a part of multiculturalism/pluralism education.

On this site you will find sections for kids, parents/guardians, and teachers, where you can explore secular content and interact with us. We hope you find our site educational and fun.

Professionally, his background is in Education. His qualifications are in Primary, Junior, and Intermediate Level education, with additional qualifications in Special Education and Physical Education. He has taught first year University Philosophy, and has been a Grade 2-8 classroom teacher, as well as having been a Self-Contained Gifted Teacher and Special Education Resource Teacher.
